Dr. Anthony C. Corrado is an accomplished and highly trained surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Corrado has devoted many years to his medical training in order to perfect his surgical acumen. He is triple board certified in Cosmetic Surgery, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His practice philosophy hinges on physician integrity, patient trust, and patient safety. Dr. Corrado believes in natural appearing results, which promote both outer and inner beauty.
A native of the east coast, Dr. Corrado graduated with honors from New York University with a biology major and chemistry minor. While at New York University, he received many awards for academic excellence. He was awarded the NYU Founder’s Day Honors Award, the NYU Honors Scholar Award, as well being named to the dean’s list multiple semesters.
Dr. Corrado went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He remained at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey to complete his postgraduate residency training. There he completed a prestigious six year integrated training program in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. During his residency, Dr. Corrado also received training in Head and Neck Cancer Surgery at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. In addition, he was honored to serve as chief resident during his final two years of training.
Dr. Corrado has earned many awards for both his clinical and research work. He was awarded the American Osteopathic College of Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic Surgery Resident Research Award for his research in facial fat grafting. He also was co-author of a manuscript awarded the prestigious Richard B. Aronsohn, MD Founder’s Award for best scholarly article by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Following residency, Dr. Corrado sought further specialty training solely in the field of cosmetic surgery. He completed a one year fellowship training program in cosmetic surgery in Newport Beach, Beverly Hills, and Rancho Mirage, CA sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. During his fellowship he received expert training from leaders in the field of plastic and cosmetic surgery. In Newport Beach he trained under the direction of H. George Brennan, MD, a past president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He also trained at the famed Roxbury Clinic in Beverly Hills under the direction of renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Jay Calvert, MD and his associates. In Rancho Mirage and Beverly Hills, he trained under the direction of Andrew P. Ordon, MD co-host of the emmy winning television talk show, The Doctors.
Having his roots on both coasts, Dr. Corrado maintains a bi coastal practice. He now serves patients on both coasts, offering the latest advances in the fields of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Corrado provides his patients with the full spectrum of facial cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. His areas of special interest include revision rhinoplasty and airway surgery, facelift, and facial fat grafting.
